Location of the "New Museum"
The "New Museum" built by the Soviets in the early 1960s, and it truly is a Bolshevik propagandistic fanfare
This thing is immediately next to the New Museum, it is the small building in the red circle on the aerial photo
above. I've no idea what it is, but with that chimney you could surely pass it off as a homicidal gas chamber.
Huge stained glass windows which greet you as soon as you enter the New Museum
?
These are in the same room as the sculpture above, they're to commemorate the victims of fascism.
A photo in the exhibition
Karl Marx, the second-cousin-one-removed of Lionel de Rothschild, and Vladimir Lenin are much honoured in this building
This homoerotic statue stands in the centre terrace of the New Museum
Marx, Engels and Lenin look towards the New Museums' "infocafé" where I had several coffees and a sandwich when I visited
"Workers of the World Unite" on the wall of the "infocafé"
Marx and Lenin busts
A Holocaust sculpture depicting a fat person for a change
"homoerotic" my sentiment as well. Indeed that was the word that first came to mind when I viewed the photo. Then I read the caption
